What is an EPC?
A Domestic Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) shows a home’s energy efficiency rating from A to G and includes recommendations for improvement.
The calculation uses information about the building and its services. It is not a record of your actual energy bills or a guarantee of future savings.
For selling or letting
If an existing home has no valid EPC, one must generally be commissioned before it is marketed for sale or rent, unless an exemption applies. Check the official register first if you may already have one.

Assessment through to lodgement.
Certisure uses Elmhurst RdSAP Go to record domestic assessments. The property information is processed using the approved methodology, with the required checks before lodgement.
Following the assessment and required checks, the assessment data is lodged on the official EPC register through our accreditation scheme. We then provide a copy of your EPC. Assessment and lodgement timing is confirmed when arranging the work.
